Prenatal, Labor and Postpartum Support
It is widely recognized that choosing to add a non-medical support
person to one’s birth team can contribute to healthier outcomes
and greater satisfaction with the birth experience, no matter how
your baby is born into the world.
This is because doulas provide continuous support prenatally,
throughout labor, and in the postpartum period. We support you
in exploring your beliefs around childbirth and postpartum, help
you set up for a nourishing postpartum, keep your birth wishes
in mind during labor, gently remind you of your strength, support
your choices and trust in the process and ability for you to birth

What Mothers remember the most about their birth is how they were treated during labor. My job is to help you (and your partner) experience the birth of your baby as fully as possible, in awareness, with confidence and surrounded with care, love and respect.
I will also assist you in planning for a nourishing postpartum that promotes healing and bonding.
